My latest clay pieces are inspired by the ancient myth of the Minotaur. It's a saga for all time with its themes of hubris and sacrifice, othering and betrayal. Clearly I interpret the story with characters other than the traditional tale. I see these new pieces as relics from a surreal and imagined past.

My solo show entitled Labyrinth: Lost and Found opens at Brassworks Gallery in Portland, Oregon on October 11th.
